Special Collections Highlight : Ruth Dworin Collection

Favourite fonds : Celebrating Margaret Laurence's birthday

This week's favourite fonds is the Margaret Laurence fonds,  in celebration of what would have been the writer's eighty-fourth birthday.  Born 18 July 1926 in Neepawa Manitoba, Laurence is perhaps best know for her novels, The Diviners and The Stone Angel.

Mariposa Digitization Project featured on CBC's Metro Morning

Bright and early this morning, the Clara Thomas Archives & Special Collections' latest online exhibit was featured on CBC's Metro Morning.  Host Matt Galloway interviewed the founder of the Mariposa Folk Festival and promoted our online exhibit of historical programs, images and sound recordings.
