Highlights

As part of the larger York University 50th Anniversary celebrations, the graduate programme in Women's Studies undertook the revision and updating of a thematic guide to material in the archives that relates to women and Women's Studies.  The original document, created in 1991, was updated to reflect developments in Women's Studies and feminisms at York University and to highlight the rich variety of documentation housed at the Clara Thomas Archives & Special Collections.

Part of this project included the creation of a complementary exhibit of materials that highlight the history of the Women's Studies department at the university, and women's history in general, using archival materials.
